This was pretty good Just a bunch of women from Chicago who are into comics, deciding to put together their own comics Few of them were at a level, in 2013, to get the attention of major publishers Some of them were a bit raw, a bit amateurish So some readers are likely to be turned off by some of the art But hey, it s women enjoying themselves, doing something they love, working with people who are their friends And that stuff all comes through, and makes it an easy read And you know, so This was pretty good Just a bunch of women from Chicago who are into comics, deciding to put together their own comics Few of them were at a level, in 2013, to get the attention of major publishers Some of them were a bit raw, a bit amateurish So some readers are likely to be turned off by some of the art But hey, it s women enjoying themselves, doing something they love, working with people who are their friends And that stuff all comes through, and makes it an easy read And you know, some of the stories are still really damn good There s stuff in here I d love to seeof, and one of the joys of this kind of anthology is finding that stuff So, I figure it s probably worth reading
