    This cookbook is from my favorite restaurant in British Columbia, Canada; it's in Victoria. It’s an all vegan buffet restaurant, and there’s always a huge selection of available food and it all tastes so good. A friend just sent me the cookbook and I’m happy to see that most of the dishes are healthy, and that they appear easy to make also.

    Really excited to have the recipes from some of the dishes I remember that I enjoyed including mushroom barley soup, black bean soup, Thai noodle salad, lasanga, quinoa patties, shepherd’s pie, tofu quiche, date squares, Not Nanaimo bars, and especially the gingerbread cake and the mudpie bars. Yum!

    Spiral bound book which makes it easy to use while cooking. The only downsides are there aren’t any photos (except for the tantalizingly delicious looking one on the front cover), and there’s no index. But the recipes are ordered into groups so everything is reasonably easy to find.

    The sections are: soups, salads, salad dressings, condiments, beans, seitan dishes, tempeh dishes, tofu dishes, main courses, grains, cakes, cookies, muffins, pastries, pies.

    I'd searched for this book because I'd heard it existed, but I couldn't find it. It wasn't yet published during my last visit there. Right now, I know that it can be purchased at the Victoria restaurant.

    I love the restaurant and I love the cookbook. The recipes are easy and delicious! There are recipes for soups, salads, desserts and much more. The perfect cookbook for day to day vegan eating.
