I enjoyed this book just as much as the first Tom Webb just has a gift for pulling you into a story, keeping up the pace and bringing out emotions This picks up shortly after book 1 and Dan is settling into his new life in Blue Ridge He is still struggling with his broken relationships with his ex, Abe, and his best friend Gary while he is trying to decide whether to continue exploring things with closeted Officer Yummypants Nick who doesn t seem to have any plans on coming out of the closet I enjoyed this book just as much as the first Tom Webb just has a gift for pulling you into a story, keeping up the pace and bringing out emotions This picks up shortly after book 1 and Dan is settling into his new life in Blue Ridge He is still struggling with his broken relationships with his ex, Abe, and his best friend Gary while he is trying to decide whether to continue exploring things with closeted Officer Yummypants Nick who doesn t seem to have any plans on coming out of the closet for anyone Things start off with a very unexpected reveal that throws Dan back onto an emotional rollercoaster In addition, the harassment of his busboy, Charlie, escalates and the people who should be protecting him are failing miserably or actually encouraging the bullying Gary is back trying to salvage their friendship, and the women in his life continue their helpful meddling As if that wasn t enough, the trouble his former law partners have gotten into is worse than Dan expected and continues to pose a threat As with every Tom Webb story I ve read so far, I laughed and cried and then begged forLuckily I now know there are twoplanned for the series

You know the taste test, right Pepsi challenge Blindfolded, served glass 1 and then glass 2 Can you tell the difference Could you pick out the winner s choice I bet I could win a Webb challenge every time There is something about his writingit s masculine, it s unforgiving, it s dependable, it s just Webb Brothers in Arms is absolutely everything I love about Webb s stories This is a continuation of Broken Road Cafe, and you will want to read them together Book one takes you from ze You know the taste test, right Pepsi challenge Blindfolded, served glass 1 and then glass 2 Can you tell the difference Could you pick out the winner s choice I bet I could win a Webb challenge every time There is something about his writingit s masculine, it s unforgiving, it s dependable, it s just Webb Brothers in Arms is absolutely everything I love about Webb s stories This is a continuation of Broken Road Cafe, and you will want to read them together Book one takes you from zero to sixty and spits you out on finish line It s a hell of a ride This book rivals the intensity while touching on tender subjects at the same time I think that s what I love about Webb so much he s not afraid to take you there. Dan is trying to start anew He ditched his suit and tie and donned an apron instead On a whim, he bought a cafe in a small town He needed an escape and Blue Ridge was just what he was looking for He s smitten with a certain sexy Chief of police, but he can t shout his love sonnets from the rooftop because his cop is firmly in the closet Dan is not a man that hides who he is He doesn t back away from a fight or turn a blind eye on evils in the world Dan is a do er Falling in love with a firm closet case does not bode well for Dan He is also stubborn, tough, and a huge pain in the ass I still love him though.Nick makes my knees weak He is without a doubt Chief Yummypants and I couldn t get enough He is patient yet fierce He is hidden yet on the front lines He is dominant yet submissive He is flippin awesome He hits a crossroads in his life Tough decisions will have to be made He faces the prospect of bullets flying every day, but some things in life holdpower than they should Drama attacks from every direction This tale may be short, but I promise you there is no shortage of action snicker Yeah, that kind of action too Dan and Nick are both alpha menthey tussle and then they tussle some , sometimes with their clothes on Hard headed heh and infuriating at times, they finally admit to the fall, and I drifted to the clouds with them. But not so fast.Bullying, homophobes, and hate crimes pull your feet back to the ground. The pair of not so innocent kitty cats are back in full effect Charity and Patsy are a duo of Jimmy Choo s I would not want to cross They are WAY over the top, but somehow, they pull it off.Family, love, and lossgrab some tissues You re gonna laugh, you re gonna sweat, and then you re gonna sniffle 4.5 wonderful webbtastic stars

How can one author pack so much feeling into one book I loved the first one, but this one got to me There is really nothing better than reading about a flawed hero full of passion and this book has multiple A LOT happens but it never felt jumbled or contrived It was heartbreaking one page and completely uplifting the next The secondary characters are just as integral to the story as Dan and Chief Yummypants I love that and I can t wait for book 3 Off to troll the author to see how long I How can one author pack so much feeling into one book I loved the first one, but this one got to me There is really nothing better than reading about a flawed hero full of passion and this book has multiple A LOT happens but it never felt jumbled or contrived It was heartbreaking one page and completely uplifting the next The secondary characters are just as integral to the story as Dan and Chief Yummypants I love that and I can t wait for book 3 Off to troll the author to see how long I have to wait

As usual, T.A Webb left me longing for .Dan and Nick are still bringing the heat D Emotional roller coasterbut one where the second you step off, you run back to the end of the line to do it all over again Several characters have both minor and major epiphanies, and then the who, who, who at the end brilliant Definitely feeling the love As usual, T.A Webb left me longing for .Dan and Nick are still bringing the heat D Emotional roller coasterbut one where the second you step off, you run back to the end of the line to do it all over again Several characters have both minor and major epiphanies, and then the who, who, who at the end brilliant Definitely feeling the love
