This was a high tech mystery Very interesting I'm not sure if all the things the group did in the story to solve the crimes are really possible but it made for a good story I can see this group being a TV series with the crimes they solve and the places they travel to I enjoyed being in the snowy mountains for a few days while I read this One thing that was rather distracting to me were the errors in the book Some places the right word was there and the wrong word was crossed out A lot of times the words were wrong or repeated I found that a bit annoying But the book was good I like the cover I like the characters and their friendshipI received this book from Goodreads First Read for free I don't know that I would have ever found it if it weren't for that Thanks

Alec Peche the author of A Breck Death doesn't fool around you can tell he is a very serious writer In this book we follow a private forensic pathologist named Jill uint She is called to a ski resort in Colorado to examine the body of a man who was thought to have died from a heart attack on the mountain while skiing She finds something the local medical examiner did not a needle mark on the corpse's back and a pin hole in his ski jacket Jill calls in her team of friends who all have different areas of expertise to help solve the growing mystery Things get a lot complicated the they find out putting everyone in danger The reader can tell that the Author has done a lot of research to make this story believable

Received this book from Goodreads First Read for free I really liked this book Characters where relateable and story moved uickly I finished it in a few days because I wanted to know what would happen to these people I will be looking for from this author Alec Peche I really like books where the story moves smoothly throughout the tale that you don't want to put it down till the end This was a great read for a lover of a good mystery

While the book is well written it was far from the mystery I was expecting There was a murder but in a short time we knew who the killer was how he did it but not why Now that would normally open all sorts of interesting avenues but it came down to a story about corporations scheming and cyber hijinks This in itself was extremely informative and would tickle the mind of anyone into computers their capabilities etc But for a mystery buff not so muchI pushed through all the attempts and intrigue of the bad guys trying to murder the investigators which is kind of ridiculous as that never stops the investigation But finally I just gave up and figured I just didn't care what the victim knew that they had to shut him up about and went to the end of the book where I gave my rating and closed the bookDon't get me wrong if this is the kind of subject that is of interest you would most certainly enjoy the book as for me I'll pass

I thought it was a good story very detailed information My only problem was there was no warmth between the characters I didn't feel their connection The story was written as seuence of facts However it was an interesting read

PleasantThese books are a nice way to spend an afternoon reading without the over the top grossness that is so often in today’s murder mysteries And they don’t give me nightmares
