  1. William Shep says:

This is the one of the best of the childhood of famous Americans series, partly because Jackson had a very exciting childhood. A great book to read to your children if you want to try to bring some of America's past heroes alive, as their memory is fading fast as they are largely being ignored in public school classes.

  2. Deanna says:

The kids really enjoyed this book. They didn't want me to stop each day. We all learned a lot. I enjoyed the writer's straight forward treatment of this controversial president.

  3. Aden says:

Pretty accurate biography, but a few mistakes.

  4. Charlotte says:

I really liked this book and I've never known so much about Andrew Jackson. People in the past seem to have done a lot of things we can't even comprehend.
