The Sunset Destiny series has quickly become one of my favorite series The Mannon family has captured my heart for the fourth time now with Vanessa who I was not a fan of until this book J J Ellis does a wonderful job of keeping the spoiled baby of the family personality intact while still winning the reader over now that we are inside her head In this novel, Vanessa has to work for the love that she is usually showered with The boy that she butted heads with in high school is seemingly just The Sunset Destiny series has quickly become one of my favorite series The Mannon family has captured my heart for the fourth time now with Vanessa who I was not a fan of until this book J J Ellis does a wonderful job of keeping the spoiled baby of the family personality intact while still winning the reader over now that we are inside her head In this novel, Vanessa has to work for the love that she is usually showered with The boy that she butted heads with in high school is seemingly just not that into her after coming back from a military tour These two characters are only able to find their HEA after many trials and interference from others The next book cannot come soon enough

SweetThis sweet romance has old friends falling into bed practically minutes after reuniting after a separation of several years There s reminiscing, the back story of past hurts, and the fragile new trust constantly challenged by misinterpretation and misunderstanding Subplots with the heroine s siblings round out the story.Other than the continuously incorrect use of an apostrophe when referring to the family members in multiples those red haired Mannons, not Mannon s , the editing is clean SweetThis sweet romance has old friends falling into bed practically minutes after reuniting after a separation of several years There s reminiscing, the back story of past hurts, and the fragile new trust constantly challenged by misinterpretation and misunderstanding Subplots with the heroine s siblings round out the story.Other than the continuously incorrect use of an apostrophe when referring to the family members in multiples those red haired Mannons, not Mannon s , the editing is clean The story is a little heavy on tell, but not so much that I find myself gritting my teeth.Unfortunately, I could not drum up sufficient interest in the book to finish it The book isn t bad it s just not to my taste
