This should be a textbook in any evangelistic Bible college that offers a class on the doctrine of the Second Coming I do not agree with everything in this book, but with most of it The chapters are 8 10 pages long It is not particularly difficult reading, but it took me an hour to an hour and a half to read each chapter In my copy the print was small This is interesting and informative reading.

For me this is the best book i have ever read on the Book of Revelation I find him clear and fair He is aware of alternate interpretations of the text, but for me,he seems to give good reasons why the interpretation he has chosen is correct I beleive the man had a prophectic gifting on his life. Also the man has a Pastors heart, full of concern for the eternal destiny of his readers A very good read I never tire of the book because of its depth.

The unbeliever is in a constant struggle to find justification for his or her unbelief The miracle of Jesus birth and ministry, death and resurrection first have to be ignored or maligned or belittled or held in contempt The bible itself must be characterized as obsolete, phony, inconsistent and contrived and the work of the church and its saints are sidelined, marginalized, ridiculed or simply passed off as one of the many fancies of human beings throughout history. But if God exists and He d The unbeliever is in a constant struggle to find justification for his or her unbelief The miracle of Jesus birth and ministry, death and resurrection first have to be ignored or maligned or belittled or held in contempt The bible itself must be characterized as obsolete, phony, inconsistent and contrived and the work of the church and its saints are sidelined, marginalized, ridiculed or simply passed off as one of the many fancies of human beings throughout history. But if God exists and He did come to earth to save mankind, how would He come I would assert that he would come as a humble servant and minister, a healer and teacher, a miracle worker and martyr Then only those who would prostrate themselves with a humble spirit and broken heart would be able to come to Him He would resist the proud because, for them, He would have no appeal The liar would think Him a liar, the cheater would think Him a cheat that only the true and sincere heart would be able to find Him.The Book of Revelation largely deals with the time when there is no redemption, no hope for the lost, the arrogant, the self absorbed, the self made man or woman, the person who thought he or she was good enough because he or she made or adopted his or her own standards of conduct, own concept of goodness Christ says He gave you the example, He showed you the way, He light the lamp on the path to redemption and reconciliation with the Maker and all who have heard must heed There is no turning to the right or the left and avoiding the prophecies of this book It is the unalterable law of God that must be acknowledged and followed to avoid the judgement of Hell. The terrible plagues of the Book of Revelation will come and some will try to hide in the deepest caverns and darkest forests but in vain All that is on earth will be revealed in those days and there will be nowhere to hide And these earthly fates will not be the worst of it for the Lake of Fire stands as the final place of consignment for the unsaved soul.Where are you today What s holding you back Do you understand the future that you are facing God will be glorified and His word will be fulfilled The arrogant, the foolish, the modern sophisticated self made man or woman aren t exempt from the final judgement We will all be judged according to our works This is a sobering book that doesn t embellish or speculate about the end times I hope thatpeople will read the book of Revelation and commentaries such as this to further understand the nature and character of Christ and his church
