  4. Debbie Hill says:

Beautifully written with poetic lines flowing smooth like melted chocolate I especially enjoyed the references to art as well as the worry stones scattered through the work A novel about cults and family dynamics and the tough decisions that people must make My favourite line of the book Perhaps this family of hers was as fractured as a Cubist painting rather than pointillist Or perhaps it was as easy to understand as a Constable painting p 278Bravo I look forward to reading of Joanna Lilley's work

  5. Dee Enright says:

A compelling and engaging story about parents sisters and life I loved going on the journey with Jenny as she wrestled with the past her relationships with her family and her place in life You can tell that Joanna also writes poetry as she takes you on a magical ride to Nunavut and Scotland I found myself identifying with both the parents and each of the sisters at times Do yourself a favour and read this book
