This is an excellent book that describes a girl Jennifer who likes a boy in class but he doesn’t like her attention because he gets mocked by the other children in class He wants her to leave but when she does he realises how much he misses her When he finds out she is coming back he is proud to tell everyone that he likes her I feel it would be a good introduction to children of that particular stage in life and would give the teacher an opportunity to talk about bullying in the classroom The story is wrote in a simple rhyme so could be used as part of a poetry lesson or to encourage children to write their own poem It is suitable for Year 1 or 2

A cute and funny love story about a young boy who is being crushed on by his classmate Jennifer Jones The boy is annoyed with Jennifer's annoying acts of affection and hates that everyone teases them saying they would make a cute little pair He says she could go to the jungle the Arctic the desert or the moon as long as she leaves soon because he has had enough When Jennifer ends up leaving the boy finds himself very sad and lonely wishing Jennifer would come back The rhyming text and colorful illustrations make this an engaging book that children will enjoy reading Young children still find crushes and love gross which is why they especially have fun reading it especially as a class read aloud On a deeper level for older students this book can be used to talk about cherishing the people you have in your life because you never know when the last time you are going to see them is It can also spark conversation about lying and its possible implications Overall this is a funny book for all ages and has a lot of points that can be used to create discussion and conversation with your children or within a classroom

This is the cutest story ever It is about a little boy and he sits next to this girl named Jennifer Jones in class She tells him that she loves him and writes him love poems with red hearts This little boy is tired of being made fun of so he thinks of different places he wishes Jennifer would go to get away from him Until one day she ends up moving to Paris At first he was very happy because she was gone but after a while he felt lonely and wished Jennifer would come back They write each other letters and send pictures and one day she says See you in June and the little boy yelled with excitement and went to the store to buy red hearts for when she returned This is a good lesson of you never know how much you're going to miss someone until they are gone I love this story because it is told from the 1st person point of view of the little boy He provides funny insights as well The illustrations are mixed between collages drawings and paintings and it is very colorful throughout this story This is a silly story that young children would love

Jennifer Jones wont leave me alone I love this book because this is how a little boy really feels about their crush in school They want her to leave them alone then miss her when she is gone A good book to compare and contrast how he felt when Jennifer was around and not around also good for rhyming
