    Mr. Spoon? has written a fine book on the subject of basic green woodworking, this includes how to use basic tools, the few special benches/tools that users must make and many simple and not so simple projects. Even city dwellers can probably get their hands on small branches suitable for clothes pins and other small bits, on the other hand, the larger chunks are a bit more difficult to acquire unless you have access to wood lots. A fun read with lots of photos and illustrations.
