UntamedThis is the first book I’ve read by this author and a change of pace with a hot sexy romance I enjoyed it a lot and time flew by much too uickly when I read it I’ll be checking out by this writer for sure The male character in this book was patterned after Jason Momoa and that’s all you picture after the start in that part very steamy Lucinda Graves is the London based businesswoman who has traveled 40 hours to Jason Kaoki’s unnamed island in the Pacific to try to get him to allow them to build a hotel there Others had already tried and failed but Lucinda was sure she would not fail she just couldn’t My thanks for the advance electronic copy that was provided by NetGalley author Caitlin Crews and the publisher for my fair reviewAlso seen on my BookZone blog

I've started to read the Dare books I have read a few now I love reading about a fictional hotel business it adds such a glamorous atmosphere I really enjoyed reading about these strong characters both wanting success in their own way Lucinda Graves seemed to have done her homework and gathered all her information before upon meeting with Jason Kaoki Lucinda represents an international hotel business she wanted to build at the resort where Jason lived on a private island It was true that Jason was a rich man but Lucinda offered that she could make him even richer is that even possible that Jason could be made even richer and would he know if he become richer? I do love reading about the super rich it's an escape route reading about that's far different my profile in life I'm nowhere near rich The only real reason why Lucinda Graves had come to the private island in the first place was talk to Jason about a resort and not play around in his bedroom What will become of this? Will it just remain a fling or a bit ? I recommend the Dare books as you can always take a look at the Dare collection and see which blurb from the books that may edge you on to read one

I can’t believe that it has taken me this long to read a Mills and Boon Dare book but better late then never right? This is a great introduction to this whole new series of books and a whole new to me author Even though this is apart of the Dare range from Mills and Boon it is also book three in the Hotel Temptations series which very easily can be read as a stand a lone There are mentions of character’s that I believe are apart of the series but I saw them as backing story about Jason Lucinda has been sent to an unnamed tropical island in the middle of the Pacific her task is to get the reclusive owner; billionaire Jason Kaoki to sign over his hotel to her companies ever expanding empire The only problem is that he has already sent four of her colleagues packing within minutes she is adamant that she will not be leaving his island empty handed She is a sassy bold as brass determined woman who has worked hard to get to where she is which means she will do what ever it takes to get the contract signed Jason Kaoki just wants to live in his isolated in peace yet he keeps getting harassed by all this ‘suits’ who want to buy him out He didn’t become a multimillionaire by being manipulated into doing what he doesn’t want to by large companies so he knows exactly how to get rid of the pests in suits that is until he sees the latest one sent; a vivacious fiery red head who knows her mind and is far determined then any of the other’s He plan’s to see how far she will go to get what she wants so he presents her with a few challenges which will push her to the limit but how far will she go?The story is set across a couple of days as Lucinda and Jason play a game of sexy cat and mouse as they fight each other for control over the situation they have found themselves in I found that we don’t really get a sense of who these two until further into the book their true character’s are uite shadowed to the reader which also makes you keep reading as you are intrigued as to who these people are I like the pacing of this nothing is slow or long winded not dragging of the feet waiting for the bedroom scenes From the moment Lucinda and Jason meet boom; pent up sexual tension ripples and hangs in the air like a heavy fogI don’t think I need to warn you as this is a ‘Dare’ book but I will anyway; that this is very hot there are some extremely spicy scenes so if aren’t fans of erotic romances with strong language then maybe this isn’t the best book for you the language is shall we say colourful with very hot scenes Its a great little story about two lonely and work focused people who aren’t so much looking for love but just fall into it by chance the story is very much focus on the challenges between Jason and Lucinda and how far they can push each other before one breaks I found their romance a little slow as it is very much focused on their sexual relationship rather then the emotional one but those moment when they are truly getting to know each other near the end is very tender and well written The only thing I didn’t like about this was how Lucinda allowed herself to be manipulated into these challenges She is an intelligent women who really shouldn’t have to resort to wearing teeny weeny bikini’s surfing and showing off her ‘arse’ just to get a contract signed I didn’t like how he exploited her like that in the beginning apart from that I enjoyed the story I just would have preferred Lucinda to stand up to Jason a bit like she did when she first arrived at his hotel Overall an enjoyable weekend read

I am so addicted to Caitlin Crews stories and have loved the Hotel Temptation series immensely This novel was so powerfully sexy and I could not stop readingWhen Lucinda Graves makes it her mission to convince millionaire Jason Kaoki to turn his undeveloped private island into an elite luxury resort she had no idea the amount of combustible chemistry that would erupt between them  But when the connection to Jason forces Lucinda to reevaluate her own long term wants and desires she realizes how untamed and predatory Jason really is in getting what he wantsI really loved this story as Lucinda and Jason were so deliciously sexy But I felt that their emotional backstories were glossed over and almost rushed I would have preferred them to be fleshed out in depth Further I felt like the story had SO much internal monologue that I found myself at times skipping pages to where they would be speaking again It felt almost excessive at times All in all this was a great story I look forward to reading from this author in the future I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review  4 stars Ratula

Favourite uote“You don’t look for the point in surfing you just surf The point finds you when you’re ready” JasonLucinda Graves shows up at Jason’s island determined to succeed where five men before her have failed—convincing Jason to let her develop an exclusive resort at the island Jason is on the island in an effort to prove to himself that he’s nothing like the man who sired him—a selfish hedonist who chased everything in a skirt—but when prim and proper Lucinda shows up he can’t resist baiting her He never expected Lucinda to actually take the bait but when she does Well needless to say it gets hotThis is the third and final instalment of Caitlin Crew’s Hotel Temptation series in Harleuin’s Dare line but it can be perfectly read as a standaloneMy feelings about this books are a bit mixed Caitlin Crews writes angsty heroes and heroines very well—she writes for the Harleuin Presents line Presents has a high level of angst as well and I think though that’s not a hindrance it’s definitely noticeable—but sometimes with this story things just got a little bit too angsty and the plot suffers for it There’s a lot of rehashing of Lucinda’s wound and at certain points that really slowed down the plot progressionJason was a swoon worthy hero but Lucinda was a lot harder to warm up to to be honest I’m not sure that I really did She’s strong and confident she isn’t afraid to use what she has to get what she wants but the walls around here are so high and thick that even as a reader I felt like I was kept at arm’s bay all the timeWhat I did like was how Crews managed to breathe life into the setting she described Even though it’s January and we have below zero temperatures here at the moment I could easily imagine myself stranded on a desert island with a yummy Jason Momoa lookalikeSPOILERTo discuss one of my main dislikes I have to give some kind of spoilers Even though I’m fully aware that this is probably my hippie tendencies there is one thing at the end of the story that gave me a very long pauseIn the end Jason goes after Lucinda fully willing to hand over his perfect nearly untouched island to her so she can build her resort in exchange for her living with him What Jason then says really really bothered me “if I wake up morning filled with regret that I developed this one meaning his island guess what? I can buy myself another one As you pointed out the place itself has no sentimental value to me But it does to you” Yes Jason you CAN buy another island However the wildlife and the plants and the trees on the island that will suffer because of the development of some luxury resort do not have to luxury They will suffer because you want to get your girl Like I said I hated this part It might not bother anyone else but it really did bother me even though I know this is fictionAll in all this was an okay read I would’ve preferred for the plot to progress a bit evenly but the writing in itself is uite enjoyableI voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book via NetGalley All thoughts and opinions are my own

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads This is the third book in the series and whilst you don't have to have read the others I would recommend you do as they will go a long way to explain Jason's attitude They are really good reads too and I am writing my review assuming you do know the back story Jason was left a remote island with an empty decrepit hotel on it unlike his three half siblings but he finds himself hiding out on the island after his mother suggested he was developing some of his father's bad habits As he abhors that very notion solitude and abstainance are his life for now Until his peace is shattered by Lucinda She may not be the first to the island but definitely the first to penetrate his walls From the very first moment that the very pale red headed Lucinda lands on the island she has to wear her fake it till you make it look And her immediate attraction to Jason isn't helping making her uestion her professional ethics Little did she expect to love the place and it would seem fall for the man But all that is warm and beautiful is not always as it seems and these two have some growing up to do before they are really ready for each other This is another hot romance which also brings understanding and closure to the half siblings

Untamed by Caitlin CrewsHotel Temptation #3I like this author’s booksI really dobutthis one was not my favorite I wanted depth to the characters backstory for both Jason and Lucinda to make me see the connection between the two a way to believe Jason would make the decision he did about the island he owns responsibility in discussion of developing a pristine island just The writing was well done but I had trouble believing the story could happen as it didnowthat said If you are looking for an island romance with a hot guy and steamy scenes but don’t care if what you are reading is believable then this book might be for you Will I read by this author? YesThank you to NetGalleyl and Harleuin Dare for the ARC – This is my honest review2 3 Stars

I do love a prickly heroine who knows her own strengths and isn't afraid to use her body and brain to get what she wants And she gets everything she wants and The hero thinks he can push her around and he soon realises that she's a lot than he's used to Of course he's intrigued I really enjoyed how the heroine never had to back down from her position or give up anything she'd fought hard for in order to win her business case And she gets love too Perfect

  9. Maria Rose says:

Untamed by Caitlin Crews is the third story in her Hotel Temptation series It’s about a set of half siblings who share the same father a man they never knew who beueathed them each property in his will This time it’s Hawaiian born Jason Kaoki and his private Pacific island that are too much for property developer Lucinda Graves to resistLucinda is determined to be ‘the one’ – the one who can convince reclusive former football star and owner of this beautiful tropical island she’s just arrived on to consider developing a luxury resort with her hotel consortium She knows he’s already rejected the last few suited gentleman who showed up without an invitation but she’s hoping she’ll be able to convince him that her company is the best bet She needs this sale to prove herself to her bosses and she won’t take no for an answerJason isn’t sure what to think of the beautiful pale skinned redhead in her black funereal suit who has broken his island solitude but he knows he’d like to get her into bed if she’s willing First he’ll have to get her to let down those tight curls and dress for island weather though He’s got no plans or desire to develop anything on his hideaway Two strong willed people under the sultry sun with a balmy breeze may not be able to resist temptation But can they strike a better deal than a simple business acuisition? For of this review please visit Harleuin Junkie copy of this story was provided by the publisher for review

  10. Kim Vanravenswaay says:

Lucinda needs to be in control of her life She needs to be in control of the direction that it's taking Jason makes her uestion everything It's easy to imagine him as an island god The setting of this book sounds beautiful and very relaxing I would not mind visiting the island
