Most Predator comics have become formulaic and that trend continues here Insert a Predator into a location he hasn't been in before have him kill some army types before getting blown up himself Rinse Wash Repeat This time the Predator is in Afghanistan and the crew from the first Predator hunters series goes after him Agustin Padilla's art is very solid Received a review copy from Dark Horse and Edelweiss All thoughts are my own and in no way influenced by the aforementioned

  2. Gianfranco Mancini says:

Vote ☆☆☆12 A solid and decent seuel to Dark Horse's smash hit Predator Hunters mini series set in war torn AfghanistanNot bad at all if you have a thing for Predator classic action packed tales and artworks were really good but originality and twists just took a vacation from here

I liked – but didn’t love – the first “Predator Hunters” miniseries back in 2017 For my money it was a solid albeit forgettable comic that hewed pretty closely to the standard “Predator” formula warriors go into the jungle are hunted by Predators and are mercilessly picked off one by one before eventually finding a way to defeat said Predators The seuel miniseries follows the same formula almost to a T except instead of “warriors go into the jungle” in the seuel it’s “warriors go into the desert” Wow how excitingThankfully “Predator Hunters II”s “eh” plot is elevated just like its predecessor by awesome art this time by Agustin Padilla whose scratchy style brings to mind the work of Rafael Albuuerue or Sean Gordon Murphy Across these 4 issues I can probably count at least 5 specific instances that made me think “Wow I should frame that” – that’s how impressive Padilla’s work is here It’s proof positive that even the so so iest of comic book stories if illustrated by the right artist can be turned into something worthwhile

Predator Hunter's continues to be a fine comic The story in this volume felt a lot put together and characters are now starting to have an impact The art in the volume is absolutely gorgeous

  5. Ashe Catlin says:

Rinse and repeat exactly the same as last volume The team this time go to Afghanistan where the predator is killing terrorists Yeah I don’t see the problem here clearly the predator is much evil than people who slaughter thousands of innocent peoplePersonal opinion about that aside yeah we got the same as last volume You know what you’re getting into none of the characters progress or come up with any interesting ideas why they call themselves the “elite” is beyond me as don’t seem very good at hunting

  6. Brannigan says:

I was wondering how the story was going to progress and I’ve got to say I was very happy I can’t wait for book three

  7. Erik says:

A step up from the first series but not by much
